*1st IMPORTANT NOTICE*
“Tentative” Butler-Freeport Trail “RESURFACING” Schedule
(per Brad Jeannerat with JC Lee Construction 7/21/17 & John Haven, Chairman of the Buffalo Township Board of Supervisors)
** The Butler-Freeport Trail is “COMPLETELY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC” between Laneville in Freeport to the MABT Sewage Plant “WEEKENDS INCLUDED” **
**THE LANEVILLE TRAIL HEAD IS “CLOSED” FOR PUBLIC PARKING**
**For alternative parking, please use the MONROE ROAD TRAILHEAD**
JC Lee Construction will be finishing construction in section 1, which is Laneville in Freeport to the MABT Sewage Plant until 7/25/17 (weather permitting). During this time, the Butler-Freeport Trail will be “COMPLETELY CLOSED” in that area. JC Lee Construction will be “Resurfacing and Installing Drainage Pipes” in that section of the Trail.
The “TRAIL CLOSED” signs will be posted at Laneville in Freeport
& the MABT Sewage Plant until completion of Section 1
ATTN: FROM MONROE ROAD “SOUTH” TO MABT SEWAGE PLANT IS “OPEN” FOR PUBLIC USE
**AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE: THIS SECTION OF THE BUTLER-FREEPORT TRAIL WILL BE
“COMPLETELY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC”
INCLUDING WEEKENDS & THE LANEVILLE TRAILHEAD PARKING AREA IS CLOSED FOR PUBLIC PARKING**
***FOR YOUR SAFETY PLEASE “DO NOT BIKE OR WALK” ON THIS SECTION OF TRAIL DURING THE RESURFACING PROJECT AND INSTALLATION OF DRAINAGE PIPES***

Starting Friday, July 21, 2017 JC Lee Construction will begin working in Section 2 of the Butler-Freeport Trail which is Bear Creek Road South & Monroe Road North (weather permitting). At this time, the Trail will be “COMPLETELY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC” from the Bear Creek Road Trailhead South to the Monroe Road Trailhead North. JC Lee will be “Resurfacing & Installing Drainage Pipes” in that area of the Trail.
*The Trail “CLOSED” signs will be posted at Bear Creek Road Trailhead South to the Monroe Road Trailhead North the morning of July 24, 2017*
From Bear Creek Road South – Monroe Road North the Butler-Freeport Trail will be open for public use Saturday, July 22nd thru Sunday, July 23rd
*THE MONROE ROAD TRAILHEAD NORTH TO BEAR CREEK ROAD TRAIL HEAD SOUTH WILL BE “COMPLETELY CLOSED TO PUBLIC PARKING” *
**For alternative parking, please use the “SARVER ROAD TRAILHEAD”& the “WINFIELD ROAD TRAILHEAD” **
ATTN: FROM MONROE ROAD “SOUTH” TO MABT SEWAGE PLANT
IS “OPEN” FOR PUBLIC USE
**PLEASE NOTE: SECTION 2 OF THE BUTLER-FREEPORT TRAIL WILL BE “COMPLETELY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC” INCLUDING WEEKENDS**
**ALSO, THE BEAR CREEK ROAD TRAILHEAD SOUTH & MONROE ROAD TRAIL HEAD NORTH SECTION OF THE TRAIL WILL BE CLOSED TO PUBLIC PARKING**
